CARDWELL to CAIRNS via the Rainforests and Wilderness of Far North Qld.

September 2007........ Eight unforgettable days of cycling, swimming, learning and relaxing through some of Australia’s most spectacular country (580 km).

50% sealed back roads, 50% OK dirt service roads. Best suited for mountain bikes, or tourers with wide tyres.

Forward Journey : Cairns to Cardwell by train Sat 22^nd Sept. (short cycle to Kennedy)

Depart : Kennedy, Sunday 23^rd September.

Arrive : Cairns, Saturday afternoon, 29^th Sept.

Cost adult riders : $650 Cardwell to Cairns + $45 for train if required, $250 for support-person with car if needed. Families also welcome with support car.

• Tour price includes : camp sites with toilets, hot showers or swims each day, full rider support, 3 meals a day + home-made snacks, lavish farewell dinner.

• Numbers limited to 50 adult riders.
