New federally funded bridges did not include bike lanes/road shoulders - the area between Edmonton and Gordonvale will increase in residential development and population - high speed rural roads carry large vehicles and buses - narrow bridges and roads are a risk to motorists and cyclists - the foot bridges are on one side only and have restricted access for cyclists.
